We had a wonderful stay at Acksea Holiday Lodges. The location was perfect, surrounded by wildlife and beautiful countryside views. We enjoyed seeing rabbits, ducks, pheasants, and even kestrels during our time there. The lodge we stayed in had a hot tub, which was a fantastic way to relax after exploring the local attractions like Ironbridge museum and the sculpture park. Our 4-year-old was delighted to have daily visits from Poppy, the host's pet. Although the 1-bedroom cabin was a bit small for us, it didn't hinder our enjoyment of our stay. we had a lovely time and would recommend Acksea Holiday Lodges for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Loved the hot tub and free parking! Also enjoyed chilling in the garden. The holiday home had a private entrance and a comfy seating area, perfect for lounging around and watching TV. Shrewsbury was a short drive away.
Wasn't a fan of the leprechaun toilet. Who needs a proper bathroom anyway?

The cabins were clean and well equipped, making our Christmas stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hot tub was a real treat, and the owners ensured it was always well-maintained. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, and we loved the daily visits from the adorable Labrador. Having all the necessary cutlery and cooking equipment provided was a bonus, and the nearby pub was a great option for a meal out. The locals were friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.
While the cabins provided everything we needed, the 1-bedroom option felt a bit small for our liking. However, we quickly adjusted and it didn't affect our overall enjoyment.

Lovely location with lots of wildlife to see, including rabbits, ducks, and pheasants. Plenty of attractions within a short drive, such as Ironbridge museum and the sculpture park. The hot tub in our lodge was a great addition and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The accommodation was not what we expected. We were shown pictures of a lodge with a kitchen and lounge, but instead, we ended up in a small shed with just a bed, a Leprechaun toilet, and a microwave and fridge.
